Serger

 I bought a Serger and it is intimidating but I have hope. Two days ago I unboxed it

I was reading the manual and could not do something it was asking me to do. I felt pretty bad and went about my day. But my mentality is that each day I need to learn something, make progress. I was able to put the spools of thread where they belong ✅

Today, my goal is to learn how to thread the machine. Seemingly impossible at first being that I was watching Youtube videos - the best way to learn, right!? But none of the videos were helpful. I found one that was somewhat helpful. I had to forget about the manual as it led me a bit astray. I now know how to thread.. follow the colors. 

                                         

And.. I broke a needle. Not sure what I did, but the demo fabric got stuck under the twin needles and the fabric started bunching up together. I figured out how to remove them and put them back on. But now I have to figure out if I can stitch with 1 needle or not.
