Hi all, I just came back from a trip to the Dominican Republican and I saw a lot of beautiful people and other things I'd like to share in this post.

Granted the picture above may or may not be of a Dominican woman, but I wanted to illustrate the point that the Dominican Republic is a true melting pot of skin colors, eye colors, hair textures, etc. I was truly taken aback by how common it was to see such diversity.

While Rihanna is not Dominican, I found this on google when I typed in "tubi" (also written as doobie). This is a Dominican hair wrap with pinchos (bobby pins). I added this to the blog because you will see lots of women walking around and near their homes in this hairdo underneath a fish net hair wrap. Different makeup brands! Two that stood out were goc for their foundations and colourpop matte liquid lipstick. The latter has lots of colors from purple to grey and their matte finish makes them unique, low maintenance and chic.
