A Budding Fashion Illustrator

Hey so I work a pretty straight-edge job in HR which is cool since it allows me to do what I want on my time off. While I am happy I studied psychology and not fashion design in school, I can't help but want to express my creativity in some way. I can draw reasonably well and can practice fashion illustration and fashion design at my own pace for a pretty low price, not to mention, it's been a dormant passion of mine since I was young.

So here I am, studying Zeshu Takamura's book (see above). It's pretty good and I've been able to draw several figures like the one you can see above. It's called an erect pose.

I haven't found anything online that quite resembles the vision I have for the kind of clothing I want to make but this picture (above) is a step in that direction. I'd like to incorporate non-traditional materials to minimalistic, ready-to-wear pieces that flatter a woman's figure. I am so happy I get to do this as a hobby. I know this is a luxury.
